Moments pass by so quickly. A moment can be less than one blink or somewhat longer, if time allows. A street photographer must be ready for those moments. Without a motor drive or the aid of modern digital cameras, photographers in the past had to remain vigilant of their surroundings while on a shoot. These photos displayed are from some of my very early days as a striving photographer in the early 1970s. Originally my desire was to be a documentary photographer, wanting to capture life happening around me. Today I still view photography as documenting what is before us. Just that subjects have changed.
