Henri Cartier-Bresson’s observation that “To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye and the heart” expresses the challenge and satisfaction that photography offers.  “It’s a way of life,” he says, and I take that to heart, rarely going out without a camera.  Photography provides the means to catch moments of life; then it serves as a visual record to appreciate and reflect on the significance of our transitory existence.
